Distribution

How the magazines get delivered

Every copy is hand-delivered to a household inside an agreed, written catchment area — and every round is GPS-tracked.

A catchment is drawn on a map and agreed in writing. Every household inside the line gets a copy; the streets outside it are somebody else's area.

Through the door, not on a shelf

The entire print run is hand-delivered to every household in the agreed catchment. Nothing is left in bundles for people to find — the magazine goes through the letterbox of each home, street by street, until the round is finished.

GPS-tracked delivery

Our distributors are GPS-tracked while they work, so every round can be checked against the map it was meant to cover. That means proof of delivery for the agent partner and for every advertiser in the issue — not an assurance, a record.

Your catchment, defined properly

The distribution area is agreed up front and written into the agreement rather than left as a vague understanding. That written area is also what defines exclusivity: one agent partner, one catchment, no overlap.

Additional reach

Beyond the delivery round.

The door-to-door run is the backbone of the distribution, but it is not the whole of it. Three further channels carry each issue further into the area.

500 copies to the agent

Your own office becomes a pick-up point, stocked with 500 copies of every issue for walk-ins, valuations and vendor appointments.

Agreed pick-up locations

Additional venues — cafés, surgeries, gyms, community centres — are chosen jointly with you and built into the distribution plan.

The digital edition

A web-res PDF edition goes live for your website and social channels, so the issue keeps working after the delivery round ends.

The cycle

From artwork deadline to social coverage.

  1. 01

    Artwork deadline

All advertising artwork and your six agency pages are signed off. Design work is done by our team, so nothing waits on an outside agency.

  2. 02

    Print

The full run goes to press on high-quality stock, printed to the pagination agreed for the issue — between 24 and 48 pages.

  3. 03

    Delivery window

Distribution begins as soon as the run lands locally and works through the catchment household by household, GPS-tracked throughout.

  4. 04

    Digital edition live

The web-res edition is published for your website and can be installed as a page-turner on your own domain.

  5. 05

    Social coverage

Social posts run before, during and after the delivery window to push readers towards the issue and back to your site.

One honest caveat

Individual properties displaying a no-junk-mail or no-leaflets notice are respected and not delivered to. It is a small number of homes in any round, but we would rather tell you that up front than claim a hundred per cent of doors we do not knock on.
